As an experienced website designer, writer and webmaster, my skills emcompass html, CSS, php, and mySql. Added to that, I'm a fun, pleasant person to work with, a skill not as easily learned as html or php! I own and operate about 15 different websites, all of which I fully designed, wrote and currently maintain. As I mentioned in the About Me section, I love learning, and as such my list of skills and coding languages tends to increase on a regular basis. I am currently adding a bit of javascript to my toolbox.
I have organized paid search campaigns through Google, but pride my own websites as generating the vast majority of their traffic through good solid SEO (search engine optimization). SEO is very important to any website wishing to attract a lot of visitors, even if you decide to pay for a portion of that traffic. Why buy visitors when you can draw them to you with a keen attention to the principles of SEO?
But what does my website experience mean to you?
So what does this mean for all the non-website designers out there? It means that I can create a website, diplay content, and include dynamic features from quizzes and surveys to search functions and forms. I can optimize your website to improve its listing on popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, or MSN. And then I can track how many visitors your website receives and from where, using Google's extensive analytics tools. This enables you to see concrete results and track seasonal traffic differences.
